The Tasmanian I chose to portray is local musician and entertainer Matthew ‘Henry’ James. This young fellow’s voice booms through radios all over the north-west coast most mornings from the well-known radio station SEAfm. Henry is shown singing with nothing but his microphone. I feel he doesn’t need anything more. As long as his voice is being projected out into the open, people will stop to listen. I feel that Henry is a role model for young people around Tasmania. He is only in his early twenties and has come so far in his career already. This just shows that anybody can do anything, and anybody’s dreams can come true. He is not only a great influence on my life but he is also what I call my brother, and what a great privilege it is.
